This educational course is designed for owners, operators and other persons currently involved in, or looking to become involved in, the management and operation of small public drinking water systems. The course is designed to provide fundamentals on the theory and practical knowledge required to maintain and operate a small public water system. The course is specifically geared toward individuals interested in becoming certified water works operators in the State of New Hampshire. No prior experience required.
Instructors: Marco Philippon of the City of Concord Water Treatment Plant, and Ian Rohrbacher of the City of the Rochester Water Treatment Plant.

The Grade 1A Certification Exam will be given on April 29 in Concord. Registration and payment for the exam is through NHDES. The application must be received 30 days prior to the exam (March 30).
