This course is comprised of four half-day sessions. It will benefit those who need help getting ready to take the Grade 1 operator certification exams. The many topics that will be presented include: regulations, water quality monitoring, laboratory procedures, water chemistry, treatment processes, treatment operation and maintenance, distribution, operation issues, administration, and calculations. Sample test questions will be used to review subject matter, build test taking skills, and evaluate attendee knowledge. Topics will be discussed in further depth according to attendee needs.

WATER OPERATOR EXAMINATIONS: NHDES will offer in-person exams on October 29. Application to take the exams must be received 30 days in advance of the exam. Follow this link for more information: Water Works Operator Exams | NH Department of Environmental Services.
Note: there is a separate charge of $50 to register for the exam. Checks are made payable to Treasurer, State of New Hampshire and included with the exam application. The cost of the course is paid to NHWWA.
