This course is comprised of four half-day classes providing the needed mathematics concepts for public drinking water system operators. It will be particularly helpful to those preparing for operator certification examinations or that need additional instruction in water works math. The concepts covered in the course include mathematical equations related to fractions, decimals, percentages, exponents, equations, formulas, and converting units of measurements. It will also include word problems and solving questions related to area, volume, flow, velocity, pressure, chemical dosage, wells, hydraulics, and treatment.

This course is recommended to those preparing for the Grade 1 Water Operator Exam, in conjunction with the Grade1A Introduction Course and the Exam Prep Course.
