Join the NHWWA Young Professionals for a morning of community service followed by food and fun!
Join us during National Source Water Protection Week to help clean up Concord’s primary drinking water source. This event is for members of the water industry and their families! Spend the morning cleaning up beautiful Penacook Lake watershed and join us in the afternoon for our End-of-Year Celebration! There will be a BBQ lunch, lawn games, and live music! This event is free thanks to our sponsors.
We recommend the following.
- Wear a high-vis shirt or jacket
- Comfortable sneakers or hiking boots
- Gloves for picking up trash.
(We have a limited number of high-vis vests and gloves so if you don’t currently own any, we got you covered.)
When: Saturday, September 21, 2024
- Welcome and Introduction – 9:30 AM
- Reservoir Clean Up – 10:00 AM – 12:00 PM
- Year-end Celebration BBQ – 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM

Bring your family – this event is open to all ages!
Spend the day networking with other water professionals.
Hosted by the Concord Water Treatment Facility, located on the banks of Penacook Lake which is the City’s primary drinking water source. Concord will supply trash bags.
