Small Public Water System Operator Grade 1A Training Course
September 14, 16, 21, & 23, 2021 / 5:00-8:00 PM
Hybrid learning format: Two Virtual Classes and Two In-person Classes
In-Person Classes: September 14 and 21 at NH Department of Environmental Services, Rooms 110-114, 29 Hazen Drive, Concord, NH. You will need a photo ID to enter. Please arrive 20 minutes early for class. Directions to NHDES offices at 29 Hazen Dr. Concord, NH 03301
Virtual Classes: September 16 and 23, Zoom link will be emailed prior to start of course. An optional math review session will be offered from 4 pm to 5 pm on September 23.
This educational course is designed for owners, operators and other persons currently involved in, or looking to become involved in, the management and operation of small public drinking water systems. The course is designed to provide fundamentals on the theory and practical knowledge required to maintain and operate a small public water system. The course is specifically geared toward individuals interested in becoming certified water works operators in the State of New Hampshire. No prior experience required.

NOTE – NHDES Operator Exams October 5, 2021: For individuals interested in becoming a NH certified water works operator, or testing for a higher level of certification, the next certification exams will be offered in person on Tuesday October 5, 2021 in Concord NH. To register for the IA exam, complete the on-line form [NH Online Forms System – Application for Water Works Operator Certification. Version 1.4] and return it with your payment of $50, made payable to Treasurer, State of NH, to the Drinking Water & Groundwater Bureau.
